Bencharski Homestead – Manitoba Photography

I loved every, single, detail of this historic homestead. My husband’s great- grandparents, Joe and Mary Bencharski, built this home.

The home sits atop a hill in Ashville, Manitoba, and has a beautiful view. I was able to navigate through most of the house, and luckily didn’t fall through any floor boards! I was amazed to learn that Joe and Mary raised 8 children here: Cecil, Margaret, Evelyn (my husband’s grandmother), Eddy, Victor, Phyllis, Pat and Don.

This property now belongs to Patty and Ernie Andriechuk, and I am so grateful they allowed me to explore 🙂

Locations like this are the perfect backdrop for family photos; especially if they have sentimental meaning for you and your family. Contact me today and we can plan your session!
