I am proud to say that I have found my passion and followed my heart. Art and photography have always been an important part of my life and becoming a photographer has been the perfect balance.
From a very young age I found happiness and solace in creating art. Whether it was through drawing, painting or crafting, I loved working through the creative process to create something beautiful.
Growing up, my Grandmother, and Father, were always snapping photos; yielding thousands of photographs that highlight important milestones and true candid moments. These photographs show my ancestry and document so many important memories within my family’s history. They illustrate the branches of my family tree that began in Germany and England, became rooted Manitoba, and spread throughout Winkler, Portage La Prairie, Selkirk and Winnipeg. I am fascinated with the stories they tell, and am grateful to have these images to cherish and share with my own children.
