Save $50 off your Newborn SessionContact Me
You may contact me at any time during your pregnancy to give me your estimated due date, from here, we will tentatively book your session. When you arrive home from hospital with your baby, email me, and we will arrange a suitable time and day for your session. Under two weeks of age, is the best time to photograph your new baby. After two weeks, babies are less moldable, harder to settle and baby acne can start to flare up.
Cleanliness and safety measures are routinely practiced to keep your baby safe and comfortable. I take your trust in me very seriously and only attempt photos that are safe and natural for your baby. I have been trained to pose and handle newborns correctly. The studio is kept quite warm to prevent your baby from becoming chilled, as babies of this age are not yet able to regulate their body temperature. I am current with vaccinations and will reschedule if I am unwell.
Studio Newborn sessions are held in my home studio at 30 Rosewood Way, in Oakbank.
Newborn sessions can take several hours. Every session is “baby led”, meaning we go at your baby’s pace, while allowing plenty of time for feeding and comforting.
Your family/sibling photos are done first. The studio environment is not ideal for young children to wait around after these photos are done – it is very warm, needs to be quiet, and the wait may take hours. Please make arrangements for someone to relocate baby’s siblings for the remainder of the session. There are several playgrounds, restaurants, parks and a library (with a play area) nearby.
1-2 weeks after your session, I will email you access to your online viewing gallery. The gallery will remain active for 14 days. You can order your Prints & Products by sending me an email with your selections. An invoice will then be sent back with payment details. Once full payment is received, your order will be placed. When your order is ready, we can make arrangements for delivery.
Contact me today for additional information about booking your session. I’d love to hear from you!
