Newborn Madden, is the sweet babe of Hillery – the owner and mastermind behind the wonderful Nest Family Centre & Store.

Madden is one lucky baby boy to have such a wonderful family; including 2 older siblings who are so in love with him already.

Family photos are always included in my Newborn Sessions. It’s a good idea to plan outfits in advance to help tie all your colours together. And, as you will see below, Hillery did an amazing job with this – with Jax & Lennon clothing from her store.

Chloe came to see me for a First Birthday Session. Her mom wasn’t fond of the Cake Smash idea, so we altered her session accordingly. We opted to have it structured as a Sitter Session, with a few photos with big sister Scarlet 🙂

Sitter sessions usually last between 1/2 hr and 1 hr.  This gives enough time for a few set-ups and, with quick transitions, baby remains happy and interested.

It was so nice seeing baby Hazel for a Sitter Session. I photographed Hazel a newborn, and it was so nice to see how much she’d grown and changed since then.

Her gallery features 6 of the 9 Whipoorwill Nest Props bonnets I have for babies to wear (aged 4months – 12 months).

A delicious cake by Town Bakeshop & Ice Cream is included in the package I offer, so any unfinished cake is yours to take home to enjoy – if baby hasn’t destroyed it!

Blake’s mom asked for a lumberjack themed Cake Smash, and it’s so adorable! Mom brought an outfit for him to wear and I styled the rest with items I have available here at my studio.

Did you know I offer baby Simple & Sweet Sessions? They are the perfect way to capture your sweet baby if you’ve missed the ‘under 2 weeks’ age for a Newborn Session, or, if you just want to document your babe before the sitting stage.

This sweet baby boy was born a few weeks premature, so he was technically newborn size and weight at his session. So, I was able to do some adorable newborn-like set-ups with him.

I was excited to see Axel for his Sitter session! I photographed him as a newborn, so I was curious to see how he’d grown and changed. Babies change so much in their first year, and documenting their milestones along the way is a great way to remember these adorable changes.

I LOVE sitter sessions! Cameron was such a sweet little (or should I say BIG) guy 🙂 Mom chose the colour green as the main colour for his session, and it was a great colour choice for him.

He was happy and content for the entire session and I ended up giving mom a few extra photos because there were too many adorable ones. Check out the photo with  the Frog “Kiss Me” bonnet by Whippoorwill Nest ; it actually looks like he’s making kissy lips lol.
