Brinley’s mom chose a pink and gold colour palette for her Cake Smash Session. My floral hoop backdrop was a perfect match, and tied everything together perfectly.
Brinley wore her own outfit for the pre-cake smash photos, and wore one of the outfits from my collection for the smashing portion.
And, she LOVED her cake. Brinley’s Mom, Dad, Grandma and I had a blast watching her celebrate.

It’s always a mystery how a baby will react to his/her cake at a Cake Smash Session. Some babies dive right in, some poke the cake gently with a finger, some prefer eating cake with their hands, and others like using a spoon. The taste, texture and smell of cake is new and I love capturing this experience.
DivSimar was not a fan of being dirty and therefore, did not like having icing on his hands. He did try the cake from a spoon and poked it from afar lol. His favourite part of his session was the decorations.

Newborn Maisie was such a beauty! Her full head of fluffy dark hair and delicate features would make anyone smile.
Maisie’s parents saw me for a Family Maternity Session when mom was 32 weeks pregnant, which was when I found out they were expecting a baby girl. She was due on Christmas Day, but decided to arrive on New Year’s Day 🙂

Oliver’s mom requested a winter ONE -derland for his Cake Smash Session. I was so excited about the set-up and am very pleased with how it came together.
Mom brought the cutest outfit for the pre-cake photos, and opted for him to wear a pair of jeans I have for client use for the smashing portion. He started eating his cake as soon as it was placed in front of him! He was not a fan of the bath afterwards, but still looked adorable.

I managed to squeeze the Blair family in for a last minute Christmas Mini session, and I’m so happy we were able to make it work. I had taken photos of them last year around the same time, and I couldn’t wait to see how much their daughter had grown.

MJ’s mom booked his newborn session fairly early in her pregnancy, which is always a good idea. Booking early allows you the chance to reserve a session, and then I can plan accordingly.
MJ’s parents chose blues for the primary colour choice. I decided to incorporate a bit of Christmas as well because he was born in December.
