It was so nice seeing baby Hazel for a Sitter Session. I photographed Hazel a newborn, and it was so nice to see how much she’d grown and changed since then.

Newborn Andres was so alert and curious during his session. Each time we lulled him to sleep, he was wide awake within a few minutes (which did allow for some great awake shots). After lots of patience, and hours of trying everything to get him nice and sleepy, I decided to invite Andres and his family back for another try (a few days later). At his second visit, although he was still super alert and curious, but we managed to capture a few additional sleepy shots.
We learned that Andres was not a fan of the sound machine, and needed something that smelled like mom close by. The power of mom’s scent can work wonders. Read more about this here.
It is always my number one priority that your baby is comfortable, happy and content – which was the case for Andres, he just wasn’t interested in sleeping away from mom 🙂

Kian’s Cake Smash / First Birthday Session was Harry Potter themed, and the photos are adorable 🙂
I am always willing to work with colours and ideas you have in mind. My goal is to keep the focus on baby, so any props and/or accessories added are minimal.
A delicious cake by Town Bakeshop & Ice Cream is included in the package I offer, so any unfinished cake is yours to take home to enjoy – if baby hasn’t destroyed it!

Sweet newborn Kirsty was super sleepy for most of her session, which is the goal we hope for. She arrived a little wide-eyed so I wasn’t sure if she’d settle, but thankfully she did.
I always do family photos with parents and siblings first so the ‘extra people’ can leave for the remainder of the session because the wait is long and warm.
Kirsty’s big brother Kian was not interested in his new baby sister, and showed some signs of jealousy but with lots of patience we managed to capture some memorable photos. Sibling jealousy can be challenging for parents – especially after welcoming a new baby to the family. Some helpful information on this topic can be found here.

Mom sent me a pic of the cake she loved, so I built her session around those colours and it turned out so pretty. Town Bake Shop & Ice Cream bakes and decorates all my cakes and they always do a wonderful job.

Blake’s mom asked for a lumberjack themed Cake Smash, and it’s so adorable! Mom brought an outfit for him to wear and I styled the rest with items I have available here at my studio.
