I had a nice time chatting with kind couple during their maternity session.

They recently moved here from New Brunswick, and prior to that, had lived and travelled many places across the globe.

Now that baby’s arrival is a few short weeks away, they plan to stay here – for a while at least 🙂

Newborn Willa was such a sweetie! Her parents waited years for her, and she is absolutely perfect.

She loved being swaddled, and loved her snack breaks. Baby is always the boss during my sessions; I read their cues and adjust accordingly.

Mom gave me free rein over colour choice. It was fun to see that I chose purple as one of her newborn session colours, and mom and dad showed up wearing purple too.

Baby Arlo was such a cutie! He looks very similar to his big brother Carter (see his pic at the end of this post).

This little newborn’s siblings did so well with him! They listened to directions, were super gentle, and made mom and dad proud.

I always take my time with sibling photos. Safety for your newborn (and family) is always my number one priority. A new baby can bring out jealously, which can lead to not wanting to be close to baby. So, nothing is forced, and I work with whatever is the safest option to get those super cute photos.

Amelia is a Harry Potter fan in training!

It was a lot of fun to plan and execute this cute Cake Smash theme. Mom wanted a lighter/softer set-up than ideas we’d seen – and this was perfect.

We managed to take these maternity photos just in time! Mom was starting to experience early labour signs.

Miss. Chloe was still a little unsteady sitting, but with the proper supports in place (including mom’s arm in the floral milk bath photos – which I Photoshopped out when editing), we got an amazing variety of photos 🙂
