This sweet baby girl’s parents waited a very long time for her, and she could not have been more perfect!
Mom gave me freedom to the choose her session colours. I was so excited to use my teal blue lace bonnet and romper set from https://www.facebook.com/Inezprops/, I even made a tieback to tie all the colours together 🙂

This newborn session features my nephew! Mom’s due date was a few days before Christmas and I was wondering if he’d hold out and arrive on the 25th… but instead decided to arrive a few days early 😉
Mom brought a few sentimental outfits for baby to wear: an rcmp outfit (dad is an officer) and a Winnie The Pooh outfit. Both of these outfits were worn by big brother Jakob at his newborn session. Nathaniel still had his umbilical cord clip attached, so I was extra cautious not to make him uncomfortable. I had to abandon a few poses but managed to capture some great memories.

This handsome newborn decided to stay put well past his due date! I had the pleasure of taking maternity photos with his lovely mama and dad. I love seeing my maternity mamas for their newborn shoots, it’s comfortable and familiar because we’ve already met and it puts everyone at ease 🙂
