This newborn session went really well, and big sister did great. It’s always a toss up with toddlers. Some are very happy with the new addition and some want nothing to do with baby. Thankfully this sweetie was more than happy to snuggle her new sibling, and pose for a few photos on her own too.
And, Dawson’s dad has a passion for cars, so I added a special image just for him 🙂

Musa wasn’t a huge fan of the whole Cake Smash idea, nor the idea of eating cake lol. He was most interested in the decorations, and had a blast splashing in the bath at the end of his session. Mom chose a great set-up and brought the sweetest little outfit; complete with a bowtie and suspenders 🙂
It is always fun to see how babies react to having a big cake placed in front of them.

How cute is this Minnie Mouse themed Cake Smash! Emerie’s mom brought the cutest mouse ears for her to wear, she wasn’t too keen on wearing them, but we managed to get a few photos with them on 🙂
I’ve only done Minnie Mouse themed sessions with the pink and white Minnie version, I would love to do one with the red and white Minnie someday. I wonder when the pink Minnie was introduced?

I was excited to see Axel for his Sitter session! I photographed him as a newborn, so I was curious to see how he’d grown and changed. Babies change so much in their first year, and documenting their milestones along the way is a great way to remember these adorable changes.

Baby’s First Birthday is such an amazing milestone! It’s always fun to see how babies react when a cake place in front of them… some gently poke at it, while others dive right in. Little Leo was a little timid at first, but after a taste of the sugary icing, he was happy!
Leo’s mom was planning a lion themed party, so I planned his session with that in mind. The adorable cake was made by Town Bake Shop & Ice-Cream.

This newborn session filled my heart with joy! Miss. H’s mom has been waiting and praying for her for a VERY long time. Mom chose a colour palette that coordinated well with her maternity session colours (mustard yellow and teal), I added the rose pink colour and it came together beautifully.
Watching mom’s heart melt during her session is the reason I do what I do… I LOVE my job so much, and giving families memories to cherish forever is such a wonderful feeling.
