Bencharski Homestead – Manitoba Photography

I loved every, single, detail of this historic homestead. My husband’s great- grandparents, Joe and Mary Bencharski, built this home.

The home sits atop a hill in Ashville, Manitoba, and has a beautiful view. I was able to navigate through most of the house, and luckily didn’t fall through any floor boards! I was amazed to learn that Joe and Mary raised 8 children here: Cecil, Margaret, Evelyn (my husband’s grandmother), Eddy, Victor, Phyllis, Pat and Don.

This property now belongs to Patty and Ernie Andriechuk, and I am so grateful they allowed me to explore 🙂

Colton: Newborn Session – Winnipeg Baby Photography

Colton’s newborn session was wonderful. He slept soundly, and was happy and content.

I took maternity photos of this little guys mama a few weeks before his arrival and it is so fun to see the progression from bump to baby!

Mom wanted earth tones for Colton’s session colours, and she also brought several props she for me to incorporate, including zebras to match his nursery decor.

I do have plenty of props and accessories on hand, but if there is something meaningful you’d like to include in your baby’s newborn session, I’d be happy to include images with those items for you.

Lara: Maternity Session – Winnipeg Maternity Photography

This maternity session was booked and finished in a matter of days! Lara contacted me when she was 37+ weeks pregnant, and I knew we needed to have her session ASAP because baby could have arrived at any time.

Luckily Aspire Studios, in downtown Winnipeg, had a cancellation and we were able to get a time slot that worked for our schedules. I really enjoyed capturing Lara’s beautiful baby bump 🙂

Harlyn: Newborn Session – Winnipeg Baby Photography

I enjoyed every moment of this newborn session. Mom and dad were great company and Harlyn was comfortable and content. She loved to stretch out her legs, and rather than worrying about tucking her legs up, I ran with it, which resulted in some really cute photos.

I feel fortunate that families ask, and trust me, to capture their memories. It is so special to see parents exuding love and pride for their new bundle of joy. If you are expecting, I’d love to be your newborn photographer 🙂

Family Fun – Winnipeg Family Photographer

Family memories captured with photos, this is why I LOVE what I do! I was pleased with myself for bringing my camera along on our recent visit to BDI and the park. My mom (Grandma) and dad (Grandpa) joined my kids and I for a nice afternoon.

Olivia: Newborn Session – Winnipeg Baby Photography

This newborn had the best hair! I was excited to use my “new” prop, a vintage baby scale, and I had a great time capturing the loving bond between these first time parents and their precious baby girl.

Gunnar: Newborn Session – Winnipeg Baby Photography

I had the pleasure of taking maternity photos of Gunnar’s mama a few weeks before his arrival, during which she showed me some props her aunt knit for his newborn session. My favourite were the fishing props, not only were they cute, they fit this family perfectly because they love spending time at the lake. Although I do have many props on hand, sentimental items are always welcome 🙂

Nerjes: Newborn Session – Winnipeg Baby Photography

Nerjes was stunning! She took my breath away with her delicate features and long eyelashes. This lovely family travelled from Headingly, Manitoba to my home in Oakbank for the newborn session, and despite the drive, Nerjes remained sleepy and peaceful for her photos 🙂

Chloe: First Birthday Cake Smash – Winnipeg Baby Photography

My little girl turned O-N-E! I have been planning her Cake Smash Session for months and am so pleased with how the photos turned out. She is a very busy girl, has a sweet tooth, and gets into everything. I expected her to really smash the cake, but instead, she gently poked at it lol. I think her favourite part was the bubble bath afterwards – when she really made a mess!

Sitter Session – Winnipeg Baby Photography
