This newborn session went really well, and big sister did great. It’s always a toss up with toddlers. Some are very happy with the new addition and some want nothing to do with baby. Thankfully this sweetie was more than happy to snuggle her new sibling, and pose for a few photos on her own too.
And, Dawson’s dad has a passion for cars, so I added a special image just for him 🙂

This little man stole my heart at his Newborn Session . He was such a pleasure to photograph, barely made a peep and woke up right as I finished the session. Check the last pic to see his big beautiful eyes!
Mom left the session colours up to me. This was my first time using blue & yellow together. I really like how it came together 🙂

Baby Blake’s family came to see me back in 2017 for big brother Bennett’s baby photos. It makes me so happy to see these little ones grow up to be siblings, and an added bonus, is watching the parents reaction to their babies together 🙂
Blake was very alert and curious at a few days shy of being a month old. Luckily, I was able to lull him to sleep for a few sleepy pics. We recreated photos that were similar to Bennett’s and of course had a few unique ones for Blake.

It’s always a mystery how a baby will react to his/her cake at a Cake Smash Session. Some babies dive right in, some poke the cake gently with a finger, some prefer eating cake with their hands, and others like using a spoon. The taste, texture and smell of cake is new and I love capturing this experience.
DivSimar was not a fan of being dirty and therefore, did not like having icing on his hands. He did try the cake from a spoon and poked it from afar lol. His favourite part of his session was the decorations.
Don’t worry if your baby doesn’t actually smash his/her cake. The collection of photos you get will reflect who they really are 🙂

Oliver’s mom requested a winter ONE -derland for his Cake Smash Session. I was so excited about the set-up and am very pleased with how it came together.
Mom brought the cutest outfit for the pre-cake photos, and opted for him to wear a pair of jeans I have for client use for the smashing portion. He started eating his cake as soon as it was placed in front of him! He was not a fan of the bath afterwards, but still looked adorable.

MJ’s mom booked his newborn session fairly early in her pregnancy, which is always a good idea. Booking early allows you the chance to reserve a session, and then I can plan accordingly.
MJ’s parents chose blues for the primary colour choice. I decided to incorporate a bit of Christmas as well because he was born in December.

Gurmehar’s Cake Smash Session was a family event 🙂 And although he wasn’t too interested in the cake, nor the bath afterwards, he did have an audience cheering him on lol.
