Kian’s Cake Smash / First Birthday Session was Harry Potter themed, and the photos are adorable 🙂

A delicious cake by Town Bakeshop & Ice Cream is included in the package I offer, so any unfinished cake is yours to take home to enjoy – if baby hasn’t destroyed it!

Blake’s mom asked for a lumberjack themed Cake Smash, and it’s so adorable! Mom brought an outfit for him to wear and I styled the rest with items I have available here at my studio.

Did you know I offer baby Simple & Sweet Sessions? They are the perfect way to capture your sweet baby if you’ve missed the ‘under 2 weeks’ age for a Newborn Session, or, if you just want to document your babe before the sitting stage.

This sweet baby boy was born a few weeks premature, so he was technically newborn size and weight at his session. So, I was able to do some adorable newborn-like set-ups with him.

I was excited to see Axel for his Sitter session! I photographed him as a newborn, so I was curious to see how he’d grown and changed. Babies change so much in their first year, and documenting their milestones along the way is a great way to remember these adorable changes.

I LOVE sitter sessions! Cameron was such a sweet little (or should I say BIG) guy 🙂 Mom chose the colour green as the main colour for his session, and it was a great colour choice for him.

He was happy and content for the entire session and I ended up giving mom a few extra photos because there were too many adorable ones. Check out the photo with  the Frog “Kiss Me” bonnet by Whippoorwill Nest ; it actually looks like he’s making kissy lips lol.

Nathan’s Cake Smash Session theme was Baby Shark… and if you have a little one, I’m sure that song is already stuck in your head on a daily basis lol.

This little guy is my nephew, and he is allergic to dairy products. I work with a wonderful baker at Town Bakeshop & Ice Cream here in Oakbank; she made his cake dairy free, and he was able to eat and smash to his little heart’s content!

I always keep allergies in mind,  and am willing to create a themed First Birthday Session for your little one.

Sweet Ethan didn’t make a peep through his entire Newborn Session He was clearly comfortable and in a state of sleepy bliss… which is always my goal 🙂

My methods to lull babies to sleep during sessions has taken lots of practice, and reading each baby’s individual cues makes a world of difference.

Baby’s First Birthday is such an amazing milestone! It’s always fun to see how babies react when a cake place in front of them… some gently poke at it, while others dive right in. Little Leo was a little timid at first, but after a taste of the sugary icing, he was happy!

Leo’s mom was planning a lion themed party, so I planned his session with that in mind. The adorable cake was made by Town Bake Shop & Ice-Cream.

Talk about a cake SMASH! D’Angelo had such a blast both smashing and splashing in the post cake bath. His mom asked for a Mickey Mouse theme, and brought this adorable outfit for him to wear from Amazon.ca. I do have every thing needed for the session, but if you’d like to bring something of your own, I’m happy to work with it 🙂

Ekam was such an alert baby! At a day shy of a month old, he was not interested in posing for many photos, nor sleeping. With lots of patience and determination from everyone at his session – we managed to capture some adorable photos 🙂
